True this is an old-ish movie (2006) but just wow! I was sucked into it all the way. The story was great but absolutely disturbing - if you watched the movie you'll know what I mean - because she's 14, and he's 30 years old...you know...O.o I had rented it on DVD and had read the back cover to see what it's about. So I had gotten this idea in my head but when I watched the movie, it was so different than what I was expecting!! It was out of this world in a way xD

The way the movie was made was awesome as well. The colors were amazing - except for one room; which was all pink =S - and loved how the camera mainly focused on the faces. You got major close ups so you can sense/feel every expression.

Great great acting...especially from Ellen Page - is she my favorite actress right now or what!!! - she was absolutely great!

So totally recommend this to all those Psychological Thriller fans out there.
Great movie...with great actors!

***Had watched it twice in one day. The actual movie and the commentary by Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson as they watch the movie. lol the commentary was funny and interesting.***

LOL! I can't believe I'm actually sharing this xD

OK! So don't be expecting something amazing or awesomeness =P
I'm still a beginner and I've still got a long long way to go.
I started playing the guitar at the end of September (like almost 3 months and a bit ago =P) and heck I'm enjoying it so much. Now that I'm in the summer holidays I've kinda unleashed =P So I'm practicing everyday and learning different songs.

I decided to learn this whole song...because I love it and well to tell you the truth it's quite easy and good for a beginner. I've done some changes in it. First I learnt the main guitar then I changed to bass and what you're going to hear is a mix of both xD My guitar is acoustic (I wish I had electric!!!) but I guess it sounds OK. Now be warned there's quite a bit of mistakes but ah well =P
The beginning I kinda messed it up but I got better after the first chorus onwards. So listen all the way!! I suggest headphones and increase the volume a bit...I need to get a better mic! =P

So I haven't drawn for a while now...maybe like 2-3 months.
It felt good to draw again. Now this one is complicated (just like the others *rolls eyes*) and I don't know what means, but it took me quite a while...about 4-5 hours (without the editing in photoshop). So here it is...invert is included as usual =D

Visiting a friend!

Mom, my close friends and their mother, and I went to Auckland to visit the daughter of my friends (that were with us, who is also a close friend of mine). So the drive to my friends house took almost 2 hours. We left Hamilton at around 9:10am with us following. I was driving and it was great great fun. I enjoyed every bit of it, but I swore here and there at some idiotic people =P we had 2 of my friends in our car, so imagine all the talking *rolls eyes* =D Good fun.

So we arrived at my friends house...took ages discussing where to park the car. Then we settled on 2-3min away parking when there was free parking opposite of my friends house but we didn't see it!! -____-
Went in...hugs and kisses with everyone. 2 of my friends in-laws were there so in total we were 9 or 10 girls. We were crazy. lol! Just talking, drinking gorgeous green tea, eating yummy cakes and savories *heart* After and hour or 2 we went to a park (which I forgot the name of...but it was named after a certain tree) that had a beautiful beautiful beach. I went crazy with taking photos of nature and of all of us. So much greenery and beauty. Thankfully it was a beautiful sunny day with white clouds and a lovely breeze!!!

So here's what I took from the parking place:The trees with red/maroon-ish flowers on them are the trees that the park was named after. I did ask for the name, but it was such a hard name I couldn't remember it...maybe it's was something like "why-co-fi"...=S

After a bit we walked over to a little space that was on top of the mountain that looked upon the beach:

After a bit of sitting in the shade, enjoying the lovely breeze and weather...we got tired and went back to the house. THIS time we parked in the close parking =P

We did some more talking then lunch was served *YAY*

It was absolutely loooovely!! *heart*
We ate so much. I was so full to the point where I started giggling!! I don't know why that happens to me but it does. lol xD. So after the lunch and everything was put away and cleaned, we sat down and did some more talking. Drank green tea again; I think it's some kind of tradition or a daily base thing *shrugs*. I also heard that it's very healthy and helpful with digestion. After the food I just wanted to sleep. I was full and the weather was nice and warm. Perfect atmosphere for a nap. But I don't nap =P

After a couple of hours of talking, eating desert and fruits (I tell you we just ate all day!!! xD) we went out to visit people. It was good fun and guess what they served us?!?! GREEN TEA and desert! lol!! I probably drank 5-7 cups of green tea yesterday. LOL! It's not because it was good but they kept on pouring for you and it would be rude to decline. I couldn't put any more food in my mouth...but it looked good =(

By 8pm we said our goodbyes and made our way back to Hamilton! I had to drive (I wanted to)...I mean the sun was setting and it was gonna be night time. I would never forgive myself for such an opportunity. I've never driven on a high way at night time. So it was nice. Enjoyed the driving a lot!! Though I did tell myself I will not drive for one week with all the driving I did yesterday.lol!

A traffic jam

As mother and I were going back home from town, we had to stop at a few red lights. At each red light there was a traffic jam. I noticed a funny yet a good thing at the same time.

Ok so here's a little picture I drew to explain some stuff.


So we're the red car. The black cars are the cars in front of us waiting for the traffic lights. The blue cars are the cars that need to go to the left. The black car in front of us had to leave this gap (as you can see in the fantastic drawing done by moi =P) to give way to the cars that want to go to the left (blue cars). The light was red for quite a while so about 10 (the blue cars) were able to go to the left. Now what I noticed is their waves (how they said thank you to the person that gave way to them). Some waved with their left hand, some with their right, some with just 2 fingers and some did funny waves that actually made me laugh. I was pretty impressed because I was actually waiting for the "next" person to not wave...because 5ala9 (that's it) like they're given way, they're given way (duplication intended =P). But nope...they continued to keep waving to the person in the car in front (who I gave-way to before btw =P). Anyways, the last car was a red van. I think it was some kind of taxi *thinks*. I always have had this idea that van drivers or bus drivers are the grumpiest, freakiest drivers out there and my thinking has been proven correct. The guy in the van did not wave at all...he just sped up and did a sharp turn to the left. He totally broke the cycle of the waves xD lol!

Oh and I also heard the most honking in one day...from ONE car! *Beep Beep Beep* It's such a super rare thing to hear car honks in New Zealand I was amazed by the sound!! xD

I had 2 pieces of sushi today just to stop my cravings for it. God...it was bless!!! I enjoyed every single bite!! LOL! Though I do miss the Sushi at Uni...the BEST in Hamilton!!! *heart*
So to those who haven't tried sushi before...What's wrong with you!?!?!?! O.O

Go try some...make sure you ask for some Soy sauce and ginger pickles. Oh!!! Also, Sushi isn't sushi if you don't eat them with chopsticks. So make sure you have chopsticks!! =D

Of course you might not like it at the beginning but the next time you eat it you will!! Trust me!!

Ignore the red stuff...because I (sushi "expert") don't even know what that is. But look at every thing else (including the salmon - orange stuff =P) beautiful and lovely isn't it!!!! *HEART*

Conflict at the Entrance

Song from the Prince of Persia Warrior Within. One of the coolest games I've ever played.
It's a favorite. Actually all of the PoP's are favorites =P

So lately I've been into all sorts of soundtracks. Games, movies, etc. So I remembered 'PoP WW' had this amazing song in some parts of the game. I loved listening to it while playing the game. So yesterday I decided to look for it on youtube (you can find everything on there). And what'ya know!!! There it was. So I listened and downloaded the song. Then I found a cover of the song...played by a girl! =O I was purely AMAZED and never felt so much jealousy like this before xD
She learned this song just by listening to it while playing the game...NO EFFING TABS!! O.o
That's just amazing!! Now I wish I had gotten an Electric guitar just for THIS song!! *heart*

Memories

There are three types of memories that lead to the same emotion....sadness.

Memories type 1: You remember things that have happened to you...either with family, friends, etc. You remember almost every detail of the event/occasion/etc. You start to smile and become happy that you have such wonderful memories. But then after a while of reminiscence you start to feel sad knowing that these things are in the past now...they were the good ol' days that cannot be replaced with what we have now. Sadness rushes over you as you wish that those good times would return.

Memories type 2: It's almost the same as "Memories type 1" except the reason for feeling sad is not because "you wish that the good times would return"...nope...it's because you've let go or lost a very very dear person (friend, family, etc) to you and remembering the good times is saddening knowing that things may never be the same again. You either miss the person or wish that not every place (almost every place) reminds you of them. It's not regret, or guilt...it's just sadness.

Memories type 3: Is the typical bad memories. Memories that you don't want to remember. You just want to forget about them and just leave them in the past. Remembering them, or someone reminding you of them may cause you sadness. If you don't show it on the outside...then it's there in the inside.

^These types are my opinion. I think there could be more types out there.

Anyways right now my memories type is type 2.

Memories are a great thing but why do they have to bring sadness =(

[Movie] Awake (2007)

Jessica Alba, Hayden Christensen and Terrence Howard star in this high intensity psychological thriller about a man who experiences the frighteningly common surgical phenomenon known as 'anesthetic awareness'. Those suffering from this condition remain acutely aware of what is going on around them despite remaining completely paralyzed and unable to cry out for help.

G's thoughts:

I actually made fun of the name of this movie. It's such a weird weird name to give a movie xD
Then I watched the movie and understood why they called it 'Awake' -_____-

I really liked this movie, even though I wasn't very fond of the actors that much. But it had a really good story. You get shock after shock after shock! At one part of the movie I literally said 'What the hell!' out loud. I was very shocked!!! (How many times have I said the word 'shock'? =P).

Also, it's a very painful movie to watch. The reason I say this is because you're watching this guy getting a very difficult heart surgery and through out the whole time he was under the 'Anesthesia Awareness' phenomenon. The sad thing also is the conversations he's hearing around him...for someone who's in so much pain, hearing those things will probably end him.

I don't want to spoil this movie, so I totally recommend it. If you are into psychological thrillers/mysteries then this is a good movie to watch. It's not horror...you don't see monsters, vampires, gore-y scenes or stuff like that but it WILL be disturbing to those who are afraid of surgeries. But there was a seen which in my opinion totally ruined this whole movie...but I guess they needed that scene for the movie to, in a way, make sense O.o

Anesthesia Awareness

Anesthesia awareness, or "unintended intra-operative awareness" occurs during general anesthesia, on the operating table, when a patient has not had enough general anesthetic or analgesic to prevent consciousness or waking up during surgery.

The patient may feel the pain or pressure of surgery, hear conversations, or feel as if they cannot breathe. The patient may be unable to communicate any distress because they have been given a paralytic/muscle relaxant. If anesthesia awareness does occur about 42% feel the pain of the operation, 94% experience panic/anxiety and 70% experience lasting psychological symptoms.

The most traumatic case of anesthesia awareness is full consciousness during surgery with pain and explicit recall of intra-operative events. In less severe cases, patients may have only poor recollection of conversations, events, pain, pressure or of difficulty in breathing.

I've always had the idea that patients may wake up during the operation (which is possibly the worst thing that could happen during a surgery). But for the Anesthetic not taking affect (from the beginning but paralyzing you only) and the patient suffering the pain of the surgery while no one is aware of it is just out of this world.

What - Who - Why??

Everything is so beautiful, calm, and perfect.
I look around and everyone I want around me are around me.
I was standing with my best friend, sorting out candy for kids. I couldn't help myself but eat a piece of the different candies here and there. I got a shouting from my best friend saying with an evil smirk

Best Friend: "this stuff is not for you so no touching."

Me so innocent looking gave up and just continued sorting the candy. Though I felt there is something weird, something different about her today.

A guy that I knew for a good long time appeared. He walked over to my best friend and gave her a quick hug and kiss. For some reason I got angry, but I did not make it show. Then the guy came over and stood next to me. He started talking to me with a smile. He's mouth is moving but I don't hear any words...I looked at him with a confused look.

I walked outside and realized that the sun was going to set soon. It was a beautiful sight. Very beautiful that I sighed and took deep breathes letting the air enter my lungs.

Then, this nice, clam and wonderful feeling turned to fear, panic, and evilness. I felt that I was in danger. People around me were in danger. This whole city was in danger. The sun started setting but it wasn't a beautiful setting. It was dark and ugly. No one would want to watch it.

I turned to my right and saw a dark figure walking towards me. He was very very far away but it was him that was causing this feeling of fear. He was dressed in a black hoodie and black jeans. His face was hidden under the hoodie. But I knew who it was without looking at his face. This was not good.

I got a little jump. I heard gun shots behind me and suddenly the guy that was with my best friend went flying out the door, smashing into the wooden wall infront of me. I saw blood. A lot of blood. I couldn't move or do anything. I just stared at him in sadness and shock. He looked at me with fear and sadness in his eyes. He started saying something but again I couldn't hear what he was saying. His mouth moved, but nothing came to me.

Someone was walking behind me. I finally moved. I turned around to see behind me. The dark figured man was still walking towards my way and when I fully turned to see behind me, I saw what I wish I would never get to see. EVER.

My best friend came out of the shed that we were sorting the candy in. There was blood splattered on her clothes. She had a gun in her hand. I looked at her and she just smiled at me in an evil way full of hate. She walked towards me, stood right up close to me, looked me in the face and spoke in a different voice that did not belong to my best friend

Best Friend: " is dead. We got all we needed to get about you. Be prepared."

Again still in shock, I just stood there not moving not doing anything. Just staring at her as she walked away from towards the dark figured man, who was now waiting for her near by.

Suddenly it hit me and it hit me real hard. I had to do something. I gathered up power and sent a powerful attack underground that travelled to the dark figure and the person that was in my best friends disguise. They sensed this attack but were too slow for it. They were paralayzed. I had 10 minutes to get everyone away from these 2 people. So I ran and sent warnings to the whole city. Everyone started running and headed towards the river.

As I stood watching people take off, I felt someone was watching me. I turned around to see if there was truly someone. There he was...that guy that got shot by my "the best friend". He had blood all over him...it some how increased. Again he talked and talked and I hear nothing. But as I was looking at him he had many expressions on his face. Once it was sadness, then it switched to hate, then pain, then evilness, then sadness...

It's like he was fighting something "in him".

He came at me with speed and hate....

Then I woke up (sadly) =S

It was around 8.30-ish, 9-ish. I was still sleepy, shocked and amazed by this dream. I tried playing it over in my head...trying to remember stuff. This was as much as I could remember. From laziness, I ended up staying in bad making up a continue-ation of the dream. Which wasn't as cool as the dream ofcourse.

The best friend in the dream does look like my best friend in real life O.o

The guy looks like....I don't even know who he was but he looked like Mark Walhberg =P

The evil dude...nothing. Though I like what he was wearing =P He reminds me of:

The dude from Assasins creed *heart* Just Imagine him with black clothes.

Weird weird yet very cool dream and I have no idea what it could mean.

[Movie] Collateral (2004)

Vincent (Tom Cruise) is a cool, calculating contract killer at the top of his game. Max (Jamie Foxx) is a taxi driver with big dreams and no results. On this fateful night, max has to transport Vincent on his next job - one night, 5 stops, 5 hits and a getaway. Thrown together, their lives in collision - neither man will ever be the same again. Tonight everything is changing....

This movie was great. I really enjoyed watching it and it freaked me out because I straight away started thinking "imagine something like this happening in real life" (maybe it does happen...who knows *shrugs*). Tom Cruise played the bad guy really well. The thing that grabs your attention is how cool he is about everything. Goes in, kills someone, and comes out as if nothing happened. Full stop. There are times where you'd like him because he suddenly turns into this nice caring guy so you kind of forget that he's the bad guy. But then afterwards it comes back to you that he's still the bad guy. While Jamie Foxx played this sad, some what not so brave kind of character (IMO) who got stuck with someone like Tom Cruises character, was kind of forced to transport Vincent around for 2 reasons:

1- Vincent needed a transporter.
2- Max became a witness to one of the killings.

So Max tries to either ruin Vincents schedual or plans, or find a way to escape. But there's no escaping Vincent (6) =P
So the ending was pretty sad...even though you kind of expected it. But seriously, it was really sad. You can figure out how "someone" dies from the moment Max and Vincent meet =P *not trying to spoil here*
It's action packed (kinda) and thrill packed =P
Totally recommend it to those who like thrillers.

No here's where I go and use my imagination...though seriously, imagine yourself as a taxi driver who has a daily routine, with just hopes and dreams to get you through each day. Then out of no where this wicked person enters your cab and you're thinking another customer, another drive, etc. SURPRISE!!! You've got a Pro killer in the back seat of your taxi who's been assigned to kill people. What will you do? How will you feel? The thing is also you kind of witness a killing. So you're in deeper trouble than needed.

Think about the fact that you're a goner this way or another.

- You help the killer (help him kill off people on his list), and if you both make it out alive by the end of it he kills you because you know what he does, who he is, etc.

- You run for it....you're a goner.

Where to start?

Alright, first off...WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS WEATHER?!?!
2 days ago I "summer cleaned" my room, from closet to desk...you name it. I put away the winter clothes and took out the summer clothes. The next day, STRAIGHT AWAY it's freezing cold. Oh I forgot to mention that I removed the electric blanket (the thing that heats up your bed....lovely thing) also. It's easy to remove but takes a while to be put back =S It was cold all day. When I came to sleep at night I couldn't because my bed was so cold. The electric blanket would've came in handy this night =( CURSE YOU WEATHER FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO STAY STABLE WITH ONE SEASON AT A TIME....XD Crazy I swear.

Alert......MINI ROAD TRIP *heart*

This mini road trip was just me and my best friend....My Mama! Just the two of us. Now we've been to Tirau (Tea-ra-ow) before but we decided to go there again to visit the nice honey shop. Very small town. It's about 45 minutes away from Hamilton. The road to it is just pure loveliness!

I took an digital camera to take proper pictures this time. It's a Fuji Film Fine Pix A210 3.2 Mega Pixels. This camera is old (I know)...so I'm gonna save up to get me a really good camera...because I'm starting to get into Photography =)
On a positive note this one is waaaaaaay better compared with my 1.3 Mega Pixels Nokia 6630 camera XD

Anyways on the way to Tirau I let Mama drive cos I wanted to take pictures. So here's what I got:

Slow truck. I was honking like hell! =p Not (I wasn't even driving XD)! It's like almost as if it's illegal to honk here! XD
No one honks at ALL!

I think by far this is my favorite shot out of all the shots I took and in photo shooting history!

On the way back we went to town. I got me a chicken kebab sandwich (I think I'm addicted *heart*) and mama got a subway. Is there a better way to end the trip!!! Tell me =p

Before I went inside the house I decided to go and rent some movies from United Video. It's one of the shops in the area in front of our house. I rented:

~ The Devil Wears Prada (Comedy)
~ Unaccompanied Minors (Family XD I need to balance out the genres)
~ Invincible (Action....with Walt Disney. A movie with Mark Wahlberg *heart*)
~ Collateral (Thriller)
~ The Prestige (Thriller)
~ Shooter (Action...my bros said it was really really good. Mark Wahlberg *heart* =p)

6 movies for 8 days. I picked up Hostel but I've been warned about this movie from 3 different people saying that I wouldn't like it because it's gore at it's fullest. So I put it back and chose something else =p. Though one day, when I'm strong enough =P, I shall watch it. Can it be worse than Saw 2 or Saw 3 or Saw 4?

Anyways, I might give a little report for each movie. Hope they turn out good.

Summer

Remember the chick that kept on complaining about the cold and rainy weather, who got attacked by the rain and I don't know what...well now she's complaining about how hot the weather is xD

I think it's about 27 degrees here. We are melting. This heat is making us absolutely lazy and kind of...giggly O.o Must be something in the air o.O =p

I love summer because it just means ROAD TRIPS!!! Hoping to go on few *Prays*
Today, my family and I went out to have lunch and a walk around town. I had this YUMMY kebab sandwich ("Shawerma".....yes the quotes are intended because they don't look like shawermas xD). They're HUGE sandwiches. One sandwich can probably make 2.5-4 (all put together with lettuce, carrots, tomato and onion), 250 baiza (did I spell it right? I bet they're more expensive?!?) chicken shawermas from Istanbuli (God, do I miss that shop *cries*). I'm a picky "kebab" sandwich eater here in green ol' NZ. Because not all Kebab sandwiches taste good. So this is the second best Kebab sandwich I've eaten. The first one I liked was from a restaurant called Ali Baba (Love the name xD) in Rotorua and Daaaaaaaaaamn is that a SUPER DELICIOUS sandwich or what!!!! Anyways, I would have taken a pic...but I was too hungry and excited to eat...plus I was having a fight with the sandwich xD It was too full and ULTRA HUGE for my mouth so forgive me =P Oh the shop was called Salateen.

We went to the bus station to gather some pamflets for the towns and places we can visit...and OMG!!! I found the most coolest pamflet so we have to go to this place and do some acting ;-). Ok..you know how Lord of the Rings was filmed in NZ...well this pamflet is about the Shire = Baggins the hobbit house. You know the little circle-y house that Frodo finds the ring in =O I KNOOOOOOW!!!! xD Here's a photo of what it originally looks like:

So yeah excited for that. We got other pamfelts as well of many other places and they're all suprisingly quite near (like max 2-4 hours away *heart at driving*). So be expecting some crazy and nice shots someday =D

What have I been doing so far...just being lazy lol! Going out (shopping, mini-trips), playing guitar, chatting, house work, looking for a job, drawing (kinda), reading, cooking, list goes on. Sleep is not good at all...AT ALL =S

Smiling like an idiot

Today as I was doing some house work, I found my self thinking and remembering past stuff that happened here in NZ. Some of these things made want to laugh...but most of them made me smile. Literally, as I was working I started smiling. The more I thought about all of these different things the bigger my smile became (btw I'm going wild with the whole smiling thing now that my braces are off =D).

I suddenly "snapped out of it" and realized that I was smiling like an idiot. I stopped doing what I was doing for a few seconds and was like "What the hell?" *in my head =p*. My smile was still there but I was totally surprised with myself xD...Then I just got back to what I was doing....

These thoughts were off people that I've only seen 4-5 times through out the years I've lived in NZ (end of 4th year now). Some of the situations were funny and others were nice.

Isn't it weird how these thoughts/memories/what ever you want to call them, just come out of no where, thinking and remembering past stuff and people you HARDLY see. Then you start smiling at them?!?! =D

Don't look at the time below, blogger has forgotten that NZ has daylight saving xD Finished fajr prayer a while back and now I'm hunching back on my desk doing some "last minute" studying for the final exam.

Final Exam is due to start at 9:15am. 2 hours and 46 minutes to go =S

*Siiiiiiiigh*

I'm absolutely dead. Lack of sleep and COMP340 is definitely getting to me and destroying my positivity. I totally hate exams =P

Hmmm...getting used to the teeth slowly. I wore the retainers first time yesterday night. They were sooooo weird and I couldn't talk with them on. Actually I could but I sound funny...I spoke with "th" xD So it's awesome I only need to wear them at night.

Woke up today with a MASSIVE headache *cries*...lacking sleep very very much. Studied. Took half-hour break. I had a DELICIOUS hot dog sandwich while watching Naruto. NOW, here' s the weird/annoying/scary thing...I was totally enjoying the sandwich and the episode and I could have sworn I had a small bit of the sandwich left on the plate. When I came to "pick it up"...I felt nothing. So I looked down at my plate and NOTHING!

G: "what the heeeeeeell?"

I was really sad and angry...I felt I needed that last bite xD but there was nothing. SOMEONE ATE MY SANDWICH!! I was SHATTERED! xD Like the last bite was the nicest and tastiest bite of the WHOOOOOLE sandwich and you needed it. But nothing! =( Pretty sad la!

Anyways got over the shock, sadness, etc. Then started studying again. I took breaks through out the day (thanx to the headache =S)....by 9:30pm, 5ala9 (that's it)...I've had enough. Brain malfunctioned and I couldn't concentrate anymore. One of my bro's (who had just finished his exams today) was also feeling the same thing...tired and dead =p But also bored...So I told him lets play Winning 11 or Tekken 5 (it has to be a 2 player game). So he opened his eyes like O_O...and Said "now that sounds like a good idea". I haven't touched the PS2 since September...after I got Waqas. So I feel like a beginner...same thing with bro (he's too busy with UNI). So he decided on Winning 11 (typical).

Now don't forget we are both tired, basically feeling stupid, haven't played on the PS2 since ages and I'm at the point where I just laughed at any little thing that happened xD.

I've always played with Man. Utd and my bro with AC Milan. I tell you...it was the funniest game we've ever played. Ofcourse he beat me 3-2. But it was good fun. The crowd (in the game *rolls eyes*) were CRAZY OK! CRAZY!!!

Bro: "the crowd are OVER EXAGGERATING."

We were totally distracted by them. The noises, beats and songs sung...we've never heard them before in the game. This time was different. We had to keep pausing the game because we were laughing too much. There came a time where only one dude sung...his voice was ABSOLUTELY hilarious and out of this world xD, and my bro couldn't take it so he muted the whole thing and laughed hard. I was like NOOOOO it's cooler with sound. So I un-muted it. Hence came the 3rd goal by Ac Milan.
Good ol' PS2 days.

*siiigh* *wants exams to end asap*
So got COMP321 - Data mining at 2:15pm tomorrow...afternoon exams are bleeeeh =S your energy starts going down by that time ma (no).

Feeling weird

Just gonna write this post and go study COMP340 - Logic in Computer Science.

Yeaaaah...feeeling totally weird right now.

I just got back from the dentist...My braces are completely OFF =O
Everything in my mouth feels weird...and very very soft =s.

I arrived home and opened the door and said Salamu 3alaikum. Mama came running from the living room shouting out loud "Wa 3alaikum el salam...are the braces off?". I didn't answer. I just waited for her to come and see for herself. She asked again, then saw me...and put her hands over her mouth. She was about to cry, and I was just standing there like O_o...LOL! She came and hugged me and started saying congradulations, you're teeth are so beautiful, you look different and amazing. I was like *sigh* thank you.

Okay 7amdulellah and all. They look really really good...but I don't know. Not sure about them yet. Maybe I'm not used to them and stuff O_o Anyways Mama just kept on looking at them trying to convince me that they're perfect and stuff. I was like "yeah 7amdulellah".

Man my engery today is sooooooo low O_o. LOL!

Well this is what happened so far. I have to go back later today to get my retainers O_o It's those weird stuff that you can put on and take off LOOOOL! xD But I heard him say you only need to wear them at night so *THUMBS UP*

7amdulellah wa el shokor!! 2 and a half long/fast years. Very complicated teeth and I had the surgery, so that's why it took longer =D

For some reason today...I remembered 2 years ago when I had my little surgery for my teeth.
Here's the story.

It was a cold, dark, windy night....Just kidding XD

I was 18...and about to get braces =(
Apparently my dentist told me (after a few x-rays) that I had a baby tooth stuck in my upper gum and that it's changed it's position. Instead of it lining up vertically, it went horizontal and started moving to the right in my gum! Now that was a total shock to us. I'm like what the hell??
18 + baby tooth = an 18 year old baby tooth???? How is that even possible you know. So anyways it was decided that I needed to go through a hardcore surgery so that they can extract the baby tooth from the gum. It was a surgery because there was gonna be some cutting, and blood and I don't know what =p So obviously was gonna get an Anesthetic! =O XD

So anyways...the day came for the surgery. Went to the private hospital. Sat down and waited for a nurse. Mama and Baba were with me btw =D. So anyway, the nurse came, took me to a room and told me to change into the dress that patients wear at the hospital. I looked at her and was like "Are you kidding me?!!O.o". Nah...said that in my head. XD

So got into the dress and FAR OUT!! It was quite short and ugleh...I was so frigging embarrassed!! XD
I got into bed quickly, covered up and just waited with my parents. I was huuuuungry. They told me not to eat 24 hours before the surgery. There's a reason for that...that I will spare you the details from XD

Anyways...my surgeon came all jolly and happy. Which freaked me out...but he was an awesome dude. Talked to me, checked if I was alright, and told me and my parents about what's gonna happen. Then my Anesthetic doctor came. OK...this dude totally reminded me of Jack Sparrow, except no dreadlocks. He had this colorful as bandanna on that did not match his surgery outfit! He was a nice guy as well. So I felt OK.

Mama just kept on saying Du3a2...like non-stop. Every time I looked at her she had this cute little sad face on and as if she's about to cry. I kept telling her it's gonna be OK...it's just a baby tooth!! XD But she wouldn't take it. So then after the talk with the doctors...they took me away. I was still lying on the bed. It was a moving bed hehehe! Some ride. Got dizzy though =S

Then suddenly the nurse that was pushing the bed stopped outside the room of the surgery and told me.

Nurse: "Follow me into the surgery room Please."
Me: O.O

In my head again "Are you kidding me??". I embarrassingly got out of the bed, bare footed, with the short ugly hospital dress, and slowly and awkwardly walked over to the "surgery bed" while trying to cover up my feet. LOOOL!! Oh goodness it was so embarrassing XD
After what felt like ages...got to the bed, got on it and lay there waiting for the surgery to happen. I saw the doctors washing their hands O.O...I felt like I was in ER or something. Anesthetic doctor came and stood next me.

ADoc: "Hey! You ok?!? =D"
G: "Yup"
ADoc: "Do YOU know what I had for breakfast today!!?!!? A blueberry muffin! *sighs* It was so lovely!"
G: "Damn yooooooou" <- In my head. What I actually said was "Oh! Why do you have to be like that?" And some nurses came to tell him off. LOL! ADoc: "Ok we're gonna start now. What I'm gonna do is give you the anesthetic and you will not feel a thing in like 30seconds." <- he said this in a more proffessional way...I just don't remember XD. G: "O....K"
ADoc: "Here we go."

I got a little prick....and HOLY MOLY!! I felt the thing in like 5-10seconds. It moved straight up to my NECK! I totally felt it in my neck. Everything started becoming numb...and I went from =O to =)

ADoc: "You ok? Tell me if you feel anything."
G: No comment...just staring at the doctor and smiling. Like literally smiling.
ADoc: Raises an eyebrow and asks "Do you feel anything?"
G: After a few seconds pause I gave a little nod.

That's it. That's all I remember from the surgery part.

Nurse: "Ghofran dear...wake up."
G: nothing.
Nurse: "Ghofran...come on dear...time to wake up."

Damnit....I got so angry with her. I just wanted to continue sleeping. It was nice sleeping and not having to worry about anything around me or any noise that could wake me up. I opened my eyes a little bit and felt I had so much Oxygen going into my lungs. So I knew that there was that oxygen thing on my mouth...what's it called?? I don't know...but it was really really nice. Very comforting and made breathing effortless XD Then the nurse took it off me and I got even more angry with her! -___-

Got taken back to my room on the bed. My mom and dad were there waiting for me (God bless them LOVE THEM SO MUCH!). Mama got shocked when she saw me. But happy that I was alright and awake. A nurse got me some Ice-cream, but didn't enjoy it AT ALL cos it tasted like bleeeeeeeeeh *makes disgusted face* and my mouth was full of blood =(. I was starving...and could eat a WHOLE chicken. But it turned out I'm not allowed to eat solids for like 3-4 days. It was all soup and yoghurt and ice-cream and I don't know what.

I wanted to go home right away...because I was in such a bad mood and felt disgusting XD So got dressed slowly (any sudden or quick moves can make blood come out of my nose or something) and left. Got home, got into PJ's, went into the bathroom to wash my face and this is where I saw my face. My face....*sigh* What can I tell you about my face. It was absolutely horrible. LOL! Now I understand why mama was shocked when she saw me! It looked like I just did plastic surgery but everything went wrong XD One side of my face (my left side) was absolutely PUFFED! EVERYTHING. The cheeks...the LIPS!! Oh my god the LIPS were the worst thing. LOOOL! I just stood there looking at my face in =O...

So yea...I remembered this today and just started laughing at how I was reacting to everything!

Behind the camera

Ok...another day has passed (almost). Got pretty busy today. Managed to get some studying done also. Went to uni and GOT LOADS OF SUSHI!!! Oh man...I haven't had sushi for like 2 weeks at least. Couldn't take it anymore...so went to uni (best sushi in Hamilton) and got LOADS (i'm not kidding) for myself and for my mom. It was so good! *drooooool*

Anywho, I watched Quarantine. Like half an hour ago it ended. I gotta say it was pretty good. It kinda got boring in some parts, a bit repetitive and all over the place. But IMO the ending was a pretty good comeback.


Quarantine was just full of SURPRISES! It wasn't so so scary...but most parts left you on the edge of your seat. My nerves were basically dead by the end of the movie. I feel that I shouldn't breath, make a sound or move, cos if I did they'd find me :p XD

Anyways it greatly reminded me of Cloverfield (my favourite thriller, horror movie of all time). The movie was made so that you'd feel that you're part of the "group" or movie. There's always one dude, who's always holding the camera and is like the ONLY one that doesn't seem to get hurt/injured or anything. It's like he's forgotten but he's still part of the movie. You hear him talking and helping out and stuff. I've noticed in both of these movies that both of these camera guys "died" second to last, and the main character manages to continue the story..WITH the camera. LOL! Hence I would LOVE to be the one behind the camera. I know, It's totally a hassle to carry something around when you're trying to run for and save your life. But seriously, you feel as if you're making a movie....LIVE!! XD Hence2, I would love something like Cloverfield to happen. I just need an amazing video camera and some kinda weapon, oh and a TORCH! Can't forget the torch XD

Rain attacked me

I got attacked by rain today! xD
Like HARDCORE rain which lasted for about 5 minutes!

So here's what happened:

Suddenly it started becoming dark. I looked out my window and saw that this FAT AS gray/black-ish cloud was taking over Hamilton city O.o
So I went on our porch to see what's exactly happening!

Look at the right side of the pic...you can see there's something going on there =p


Then after 15seconds of taking this pic, this happened:

The fogginess is THE rain traveling at I don't know how many km/h.


This was HARDCORE!!! It was nice to watch also. So decided to take a video. In this video you will see (at the end) how I start running back to the house...because the wind changed direction, the rain increased (it came down harder and faster) and it was coming towards me XD
***Advice you guys to wear headphones while watching this so you can hear the rain better. The wooooshing sound is the rain.***

One of my bros at the end started shouting at me: "What are you doing outside!! You crazy?!?!"
Then he goes, wears sandals and starts running like a maniac on the porch. Then I started shouting at him!! XD

Comparing....

Have you ever been put in a situation where you get compared to someone(s)? To the point where its affected you MAJORLY in every single angle! I have and it's been driving me crazy. It's also happened with more than one person. Just been compared and compared and compared. Why can't people (of course not everyone is like this :p) just ACCEPT and RESPECT the individual as they are? No matter how much you may disagree or differ with them. I mean this is quite rude and offending IMO.

Each person is DIFFERENT. Yeah! Have their own way of thinking, strategy, point of view on things/life/etc. No one can/should/etc be able to go up to someone and tell them "How come you're not like ----", or "----- does this, so why aren't you like that?". Seriously can you believe such things.

Phewf! Such a sensitive topic isn't it?!?!

On a side note....I totally can't be bothered to study. Exams are nearing and I'm just bleeeeeeeeh! I feel as if I'm already on holiday or something XD Been trying to study...but I always seem to get myself distracted by/with something. Talk about un-motivational (if there is such a word) XD
